Geographical information system for the national parks, SYGIAP contacted RBINS to see how the information in the archives could be used in the project. The maps of the national parks  from the archives were scanned and compared with up to date information about boundaries, vegetation information of the GIS system. Also a first try was made to find back the sites of some of the photos to see how the environment had changed.
